Pender Hospital Surgery Department recently purchased and installed a new Steris Harmony Surgical Lighting and Visualization System. This lighting system technology includes high quality illumination for surgical and diagnostic application and may be controlled from a wall mounted microprocessor based harmony control center. The surgeon or other sterile surgical team members using surgeons control push buttons on any system light head can adjust light intensity level. Twisting light headlight handles varies illumination pattern size. In addition to the surgical lights a 19" Stryker Vision I Flat Panel monitor was integrated into the system to improve the staffs ability to visualize the surgical field and anticipate the surgeons needs. |
