Once again, Pender Community Hospital and Pender Medical Clinic are joining forces to provide sports screens to area high school athletes who are injured during a game or practice. The initial screen is free, however, if any further treatment or extensive assessment is needed (ie. x-rays, physical therapy treatments, etc) the patient will be charged for further services. The Pender Community Hospital Physical Therapy staff and Pender Medical Clinic physicians will be available on Saturday mornings from 8:30 to 11:30 at the Pender Medical Clinic through the fall sporting season. We recommend that students call and make an appointment. Students may also be seen during the week by calling the Pender Community Hospital Physical Therapy Department at 385-4026 or the Pender Medical Clinic at 385-3033. |
