SATISFACTION SURVEYS

Our goal at Pender Community Hospital is to provide our patients with the highest quality health care. One of the best ways to do this is to ask our patients what we are doing right and what may need improvement. We get this information though satisfaction surveys that are sent to our patients, after receiving inpatient or outpatient services. Surveys are sent to patients through the mail, usually a couple of weeks after the visit. A postage paid envelope is included with the surveys, addressed to Press Ganey. Press Ganey is a company that specializes in conducting patient satisfaction surveys for healthcare organizations. The information they collect about our service is compared with other hospitals in our region and across the nation and provides information back to us in a detailed report. The information provided by patients is handled with the utmost confidentiality and professionalism. By using Press Ganey for our surveys, we are able to collect and analyze important information about how satisfied patients are with our services and take action to improve. We depend on our patients to complete the surveys and tell us what we need to do better.
