Patient Satisfaction Surveys

If you have been an inpatient or outpatient at the Pender Community Hospital, you may have noticed that the survey you received in the mail after your discharge had a different look to it. We have made a change in how we collect the information on patient satisfaction. Our surveys are now conducted for us by Press Ganey Associates, a company that specializes in patient satisfaction. Press Ganey collects the information from the surveys, analyzes it, and puts together a report for us so that we know what we are doing right and what needs to be improved upon. Since this company does this for hundreds of hospitals of all sizes across the country, we are able to compare our performance to that of others. We are able to get the comments from the surveys, as well. We depend on our patients and families to keep us informed about how we are doing and the survey responses are confidential. If you receive a survey in the mail, we ask that you take a few minutes to complete it and return it in the envelope provided.
