Pender Community Hospital - Old: Building Project.

FUNDING FOR NEW FACILITY APPROVED

Pender Community Hospital, CEO, Richard Thomason, announced Friday, August 27, 2010 that the USDA funding for the construction of the replacement hospital facility has been approved. The project which is planned just south of the current hospital location will start soon. The construction will take approximately 14 months to complete and should open early in 2012.

Groundbreaking ceremonies are tentatively planned for mid-September.
