Donations

Pender Community Healthcare Foundation met June 2nd and generously gave Pender Care Centre funds to purchase some new electrical beds and/or mattresses, and enabled us to update some medical equipment to better facilitate our resident's activities of daily living while increasing employee safety and moral.

On June 9th the Orphan Grain Train from Norfolk, Nebraska, donated 6, like-new, electrical beds to our facility. The beds were donated to the Orphan Grain Train from a facility in Syracuse, New York.

Pender Community Hospital District Auxiliary met on June 10th and graciously gave Pender Care Centre enough funds to purchase one new electrical bed.

Since the change of ownership of Pender Care Centre the Knights of Columbus kindly donated funds to purchase a foot whirlpool, electric blood pressure cuff, and a new stethoscope.

Our staff and residents at Pender Care Centre appreciate these donations tremendously! Words cannot express our gratitude. All of us are thrilled to have such a caring and generous community.

We invite everyone to come visit our beloved residents, caring staff, and changing facility.
