National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

For the 18th year, October commemorates National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. During this month, organizations at all national and local levels partner together to educated the public about breast cancer- the most common cancer among women, after skin cancer. This is also a time to honor breast cancer survivors, support everyone impacted by the disease, recognize the progress being made to find a cure, and help raise funds that allow for continued research and community outreach.

The Pender Community Hospital encourages YOU to call your Doctor today to help set up your mammography appointment at the Hospital. Promoting early detection is the best way we know how to save LIVES.
