The Pender Community Hospital Auxiliary is seeking new members to join our organization. Our main goal is to provide support for our hospital and its staff. The Auxiliary's most recent contributions have been the purchase of handrails for the hospital corridors, redecorating the family room at the hospital, purchase of chairs for patient rooms, and purchase of patio furniture for the Pender Care Center. Our main fund-raising activities have been the annual golf tournament, annual soup dinner, Christmas cookie walk, and Christmas memorial tree. We also operate the gift shop in the hospital lobby. The Auxiliary currently has 32 active members, several of whom are nearing retirement. Having a hospital in our district is so important - please help us support it and join us in our efforts.
