Auxiliary Golf Tournament

The Pender Community Hospital Golf Tournament was held on July 19, 2003 at Twin Creeks Golf Club. Eighty golfers teed off with a shotgun start at 4:30pm. The team of Ray Welsh, Craig Weborg, Matt Samuelson, and Ivan Heise, also known as the "Sandbagging Class of 73" won the event with a score of 29. The event brought in over $4,000. The Pender Community Hospital Auxiliary purchases equipment to improve the quality of patient care at the Hospital and Pender Care Centre.
